Frankenstein Comparison

The book and the movie Frankenstein were in many ways similar but at the same time they were different. In the movie events that happened in different times happened all at once or didn’t happen at all. In the book  Victor’s mother dies from Scarlett fever, but in the movie Victor’s mother dies while giving birth. In the book through his own studies and experiments, Victor Frankenstein develops a secret way of artificially creating life, but the movie Victor discovers the secret to creating life after examining the deceased Professor Waldman’s research. In the book  The details as to how Victor creates the creature’s body parts are left unknown, but in the movie Victor uses Professor Waldman’s brain and pieces of criminals’ corpses to assemble the creature’s body. In the book Victor meets Henry Clerval in Geneva because their parents are also good friends. Henry Clerval doesn’t study at the University of Ingolstadt while in the movie Frankenstein meets other student at the university during a lesson of natural science. In the book  Victor uses an unknown process to create what would have been the monster’s bride, which he destroys before bringing to life, but in the movie Victor brings Elizabeth back to life, with the monster attempting to take her as his bride.
